Don’t forget that the brand new single by RUBIES, ‘Diamonds On Fire/Dreamhunt’ is out digitally today. In addition to the album version of Diamonds On Fire, the bundle contains three exclusive unreleased tracks; the brand new song ‘Dreamhunt’, Sorcerer’s remix of Diamonds On Fire, and Mocky’s remake of Signs Of Love. Go get it on Itunes or similar shops!

There are several exciting releases popping up from the norwegian shores these days. First of all, DATAROCK is finally out with their second album, simply called RED. Might have something to do with the colour of a certain tracksuit… The album has recieved favourable reviews, and you can pick up a copy..er…probably everywhere!

In other news: CASIOKIDS seems to be the new act from Bergen everyone is talking about. This summer and spring sees them performing absolutely everywhere, and should make sure to catch them when they are somewhere close to your house. Check their MYSPACE PAGE for more news!

Also, Oslo-based act LE CORBEAU is out with an album on the very nice Norwegian label FYSISK FORMAT. A nice mix of dark, cinematic rock and avantgarde, definitely worth checking out!

Today is the day! Rubies’ debut album Explode From The Center is finally having it’s american release.  Go get it in your local shop, or go to iTunes or similar e-shops. And don’t forget that Rubies will release their brand new single Diamonds on fire/Dreamhunt (with exclusive remixes by Sorcerer and Mocky) next tuesday! Check Rubies live dates here.

Well, there are lots of online record shops out there. What makes the Tellé webshop a bit special though, is that you can get stuff directly from our back catalogue, and now we’re talking about stuff that you can’t get ANYWHERE ELSE!…or maybe on Ebay, if you’re lucky. For instance, we still have some copies left of Datarock’s FIRST EVER release, that came way back in 2001. It’s a spilt 10″ EP with Stockhaus (now of Ungdomskulen fame), and it was printed in 500 copies only. Get hold of it while you can!  Other bargains worth mentioning, is the Dugnad white label 10″, that was printed in 500 copies as a promo for the legendary party Tellé Records threw in Bergen back in 2002. Here you’ll find exclusive tracks by Skatebård and electronica prodigy Rundfunk, plus other goodies. Other stuff we have left is the now legendary 10″ Hard Trafikk by Bjørn Torske (Tellé 2001) and Datarock frontman Fredrik Saroea’s solo 7″ Chamonix et Paris (Éllet 2003).

Just a reminder that Rubies will re-release both Stand In A Line and I Feel Electric digitally on May 19th. The I Feel Electric-bundle will feature two previously unreleased tracks; a TieDye remix of the title track, as well as a remix of Stand In A Line done by no other than the mighty Studio from Sweden. Also, both singles will be re-released in their original 12″ format by Revolver Distribution.

Rubies’ wonderful debut album Explode From The  Center will finally see a proper North American release. About time, if you ask us! The album will be out on CD and LP via Revolver Distro, as well as digitally, on June 9!
Also, on May 19 the girls will release the single I Feel Electric, which has gained a nice novelty hit staus at indie discos on our side of the Atlantic.
